Amateur Artists
Before you apply:
Activities will include a display of art works by amateur community artists. Artists participating will be allowed to display one piece of work in the show. The community art display is not a sale and is intended to showcase amateur artists within the community. There is no charge for participating in this community event. The community art display will be located in at the SOPA Square courtyard.
GENERAL GUIDELINES & INFORMATION
1. Application Deadline: May 21, 2024.
2. How to Apply: Complete and submit the Application Form below.
3. Image: Include one picture as an example of your artwork. The example provided does not need to be the one you display in the show.
4. Applications will be reviewed by members of the Imagine Pandosy Art Festival Committee for suitability for the show only. This community art display is not a juried show. The artist will be notified by email once their artwork is reviewed for the show.
5. Community art pieces will be displayed on a grid wall or table on the day of the show. Please ensure that your piece has a hook or wire for hanging. Artists are responsible for picking up their artwork at the conclusion of the show.
6. By participating in the art show there is risk of potential damage to your work. The Imagine Pandosy Art Festival or SOPA Square accept no responsibility for accidents/loss/damages.
7. There is no fee to display your art piece, however donations to the Pandosy Neighbourhood Association are always appreciated to help cover the costs of the festival. Donation cheques can be made out to Pandosy Neighbourhood Association.
8. Should someone be interested in purchasing your art piece on display, your contact information can be provided. Artists are responsible for all sales transactions.
